Hello world!
In august 2016 I finally decided to embark on the adventure of learning the German language. I’ve set a goal for myself to reach the B2 level of the CEFR during the next year (until summer of 2017, that is). Is this an ambitious objective? I would say that it is, but I definitely think of it as achievable.
I’m starting this blog with the idea of sharing interesting links, useful websites and books with fellow German learners, as well as my impressions and tips about language learning.

Avgusta 2016. odlučila sam da se konačno upustim u avanturu učenja nemačkog jezika. Postavila sam sebi neki provizorni cilj, a to je da u narednih godinu dana dostignem B2 nivo. Da li je to ambiciozan cilj? Rekla bih da jeste, ali svakako mislim da je izvodljiv.
Ovaj blog započinjem u želji da sa ostalim učenicima nemačkog podelim zanimljive linkove, korisne sajtove i knjige, kao i moje utiske i savete kada je učenje jezika u pitanju.
Last month I began attending an intensive German language course for
beginners (A1), which ends in two weeks, and I can honestly say that I’m
very pleased with my progress. I would also like to point out that I do
my homework diligently and revise what we did in class. All in all, I
study by myself for about 12 hours on a weekly basis, and I spend the
same time in class. This pace is maybe not so easy to follow, but it
certainly pays off.
Prošlog meseca upisala sam intenzivni kurs nemačkog (A1), koji se završava za dve nedelje, i mogu vam reći da sam jako zadovoljna napretkom. Ono što bih želela da napomenem jeste da kod kuće redovno radim domaće i obnavljam naučeno. Sveukupno, na nedeljnom nivou, sama radim i do 12 sati, a toliko vremena provodim i na kursu! Tempo je zaista naporan, ali se isplati.
Ok, so, in order for this introductory post to be something more than, well, just an introductory post, I’m also going to add one of my favorite German songs in the end. It’s a song called “Hallo du” by the band Sportfreunde Stiller and the first lines basically describe my attitude at the very beginning of learning this interesting language:

I da ovaj uvodni post ne bi bio samo, pa, uvodni post, za kraj dodajem i jednu od dragih pesama na nemačkom jeziku. Reč je o pesmi Hallo Du grupe Sportfreunde Stiller čiji prvi stihovi refrena savršeno opisuju moj stav na samom početku učenja ovog zanimljivog jezika:
Hallo du! Ich bin neu hier und platze vor Neugier.
Hej ti! Nov(a) sam ovde i gorim (bukvalno: pucam) od radoznalosti. :)
